Terms:
Standard terms are Net 30 on credit approval or Prepaid via credit card. New orders, large orders, and/or custom orders may require a deposit.
Artwork:
Customer to supply black and white camera ready artwork, and may send it via e mail on PC or MAC format to artwork@preferrednation.com using the following file formats: eps, tif, CorelDraw (cdr), Adobe Illustrator CS (ai,eps), Adobe Photoshop CS (psd).jpeg, gif, and word doc files are not acceptable for artwork. For single-color imprint, scans of camera ready, with a minimum of 600 dpi, are acceptable. For multi-color screen-printing, vector art, created in applications such as Illustrator or CorelDraw, is required. Please note that the aforementioned files change all text to outline, so the font is not required.
Embroidery Disk:
Tajima format is required for customers supplying a disk. Supplied disk previously used for T-shirts, hats, or other items may not be usable on our products, due to the differences in material and structure. Please note that text should be no less than 1/4" in height.
Art Change:
If artwork supplied requires typesetting, changes, touch-ups, color separation, ect., it will be billed at $50.00(v) per hour.
Proof:
There is no charge for a paper proof. A silk screen proof is $18.75(v) per color. A deboss proof is $31.25 (v).Embroidery proof is $25.00(v). An embroidery sew-out proof is $15.00 (v). All proofs will be sent out for approval via Next Day Air unless otherwise specified.
Lead Time:
House Brand: Blank goods are shipped within 1-2 business days. For one-color imprint items, with camera-ready artwork provided, pleases allow 3-4 working days. For item requiring multi-color imprint, embroidery, or deboss, the lead time is approximately 5-7 business days. Please allow an additional 3-4 working days if a product proof is required.
Rush Service:
Every effort will be made to rush your urgent order without an additional cost to you. However, a 3-5% Rush Charge may be applied if the production time is too close to the delivery deadline.
Drop Shipments:
A charge of $5.00 (v) per location, per release is applied.
Under/Overruns:
We always attempt to ship exact quantities. However, we reserve the right to ship and invoice 3% under or over of quantity ordered.
Changes or Cancellations:
All orders are considered firm. Cancellations will be only accepted if the order has not been processed. Phone cancellations are not permitted. Custom orders may not be cancelled after approval of proof.
Samples:
Samples are billed at EQP less 15% for all lines. All samples are limited to one piece each style. Samples may be returned within 30 days from the invoice date. Customer is responsible for all freight charges incurred with sample order and/or returns.
Spec Samples:
All spec samples will be billed at EQP -15% with a fee of $15.00(v) per color. Running charge and set-up charges billed regularly. No return will be accepted for spec samples.
Self Promotion/Photo/Spec:
Merchandise billed at EQP less 15% which is at EQP only, running charge and set-up charges billed regular. No blank merchandise will receive a self-promo discount. Self promo must be decorated by Preferred Nation and is limited to EQP quantity. Limit 3 pieces per style for photo/spec samples.
Minimums:
There is no minimum on blank goods. Please add $40.00 (v) for any decorated orders with less than published minimums.
Freight:
All prices quoted are FOB our warehouse in Chino,California.
Returns:
All returns must be pre-authorized, and a Return Authorization number, issued by Preferred Nation, is required with all returns. Any blank goods returned, except samples, may be subject to a 10% restocking fee.
Dies & Screens:
To prevent degradation, we discard all magnesium dies, embroidery disk, and screen 13 months following the last use. Reorders placed after this date may incur new Set up, Die, or Tape charges.

Due to manufacturing and imprinting tolerance, all published sizes have an acceptable variation of 1/2". Occasional variations in material, color, size and design may occur.
