Over 30 years ago, Michael Shyr immigrated to the United States with the goal of
chasing the American dream.
With a mission to realize his dreams, Michael started Goodhope Bags with his brother
in 1985. For about 25 years Michael carefully cultivated a loyal customer base in
the retail and promotional market and developed two brand name lines in Bellino
® and G-tech ®. In 2010, Michael decided to pass the company onto his
brother and begin his next challenge.
In 2010, Michael founded Preferred Nation. With over 30 years of experience in the
bag business, Michael was confident he could again recreate the success he found
with original brainchild.
Preferred Nation currently carries over 500 unique and exciting styles of bags in
stock ranging from budget friendly to high end executive items. Our dedicated and
experienced team is constantly working to create new products with high tech and
fashion trends in mind. This ensures out product line is always a step ahead of
the competition.
